About One Hudson Roads owners background:
My last adventure was owning Safari Furniture in Palm Springs CA for 11 years.
After spending over 30 years in the furniture industry, I decided to retire and bought an old lake house in the Northwest built in 1929. The previous owner was about 2 minutes away from replacing the old leaded glass french doors with vinyl doors and windows from a box store. Nothing warms my heart more than sitting in front of a real stone fireplace. Rustic open beams, bead board ceilings and Adirondack architecture feed my soul. It was a challenge finding both furniture and “house parts” to take my neglected house on it’s own adventure. So I decided to take this head on and created One Hudson Road.
Some of my greatest loves in life are old homes, dogs, mature gardens and iron gates. And of course I am an avid collector of Pendleton blankets.
One Hudson Road is constantly hunting for interesting new products that reflect our passion for collecting timeless treasures rather than box store generic “stuff”.
